Supposedly it's to avoid getting champagne or beer in their eyes during celebrations spraying it around, but it feels more like aussie sports people copying a yank swagger thing. Panthers went as far as getting custom goggles made.

In July I noted the Broncos second halves were ordinary, going 5-11-1 after half time up to Round 19.

They won 7 straight second halves to close the season, with holding both Penrith & Melbourne to 0 points in the second half.

Hope Madge gets the credit he deserves.
