i also miss 31A so much... they've appeared five times this year and 4 times, they weren't alone (and the 5th was 5.2.2 which was too tense for 31A shenanigans). i miss their weird dynamic

ruka's characterization feels so inconsistent that i'm inclined to believe that the version of her in my head is probably more in-character than whatever maeda writes

but it's funny how maeda keeps making this mistake of diluting the importance of rkyk by pairing ruka with others when he knows that fixed pairs can lead to more intense feelings. his novel really made me wish he stuck with just rkyk bc that's what made his novel girlies' connection intense

maeda used to be obsessed with rkyk so i can only assume that their current treatment is caused by work fatigue. he has been working on hbr for so long that he probably lost some things along the way

i want to be a rk->yk believer so bad but canon makes my life so difficult bc some parts of canon really don't feel like canon but a badly written fanfic

this might be partly on me but the gross stuff ruka got made me feel so nauseous and it ruined my impression of both tezuka and ruka even though i'm usually fine with ecchi stuff in the game. ruka felt like a stand-in for a man and i need to force myself to separate 5.3 ruka from the usual ruka

this might be partly on me but the gross stuff ruka got made me feel so nauseous and it ruined my impression of both tezuka and ruka even though i'm usually fine with ecchi stuff in the game. ruka felt like a stand-in for a man and i need to force myself to separate 5.3 ruka from the usual ruka
anyway i was playing with the diorama and posing them and yuki's arm accidentally ended up being wrapped around ruka's lol

ngl though it's not Just ruka (she just gets really gross moments and idk why they tried to make it look more serious than the way she flirts with nanamin or karerin). i get that yukki isn't the openly jealous type but smth about the way she interacted with ruka made it really hard for me to believe

i feel so sad bc it feels like a lot of things that were special/exclusive to rkyk got recycled for ruka x tezuka bc this is tezuka route and everything that happened with yuki is suddenly irrelevant

i don't want to be negative but i wonder what happened to ruka's writing? like even with that yuina unison, we got "ruka doesn't blush except for that one moment" but in adel's new bond story, she's made to blush in embarrassment. they used to pay a lot of attention to such things 😔
