I saw a sign for a tree doctor while I was out, and I thought, good for them, we need more foliage in the medical industry. I bet their bedside manner is a little wooden though but at least they're out standing in their field.

Man I love Chumbawamba and not just Tubthumping. That may have been their most popular song but it wasn't their best IMO.

It's been over two months since I broke my foot and today I've started getting myself back into lifting. I'm still keeping to resistance bands more gentle exercises for my legs for a little longer at least but it felt nice. Things are slowly getting back to normal.

Waking up at 5:30 in the morning not tired at all is such a weird feeling. I did go to bed a little early last night but not THAT early.
I do feel a little sore from starting lifting yesterday but not really enough to keep me up so it's weird.
Might have to take a nap when I get home later.

I've hit my first milestone today, 249.5 lbs. I'm a pretty short gnoll at 5'4 so I've got a long way to go and I suspect most of this was water weight so I'm ready for the next 10 to take longer but that's okay. for now today is a good day.

I know it's probably a normal thing to most people but a couple weeks ago I've started getting in extra walking and today I barely felt anything having to walk up a flight of stairs. It was a really affirming moment for me and I look forward to my plan to try some resistance training this week.
