It already felt dystopian & weird last week to commute & see troops patrolling the metro - where they are doing nothing but look menacing, like their presence in the rest of the city. It’s the fed agents who are doing active harm
But now, commuting while troops hold & carry weapons is just. scary.

Too many in one place AND they were blocking the bike lanes in a high traffic commute area so thanks for making it MORE UNSAFE too

LIFE UPDATES from the past month!
1) A few folx here know I had medical issues and I am VERY happy to report I finally had surgery to resolve the problems.
1 week later, I can do basic life things like walk at my normal pace, be hungry again (lmao), and just basic normal things… mostly 😂.

LIFE UPDATES from the past month!
1) A few folx here know I had medical issues and I am VERY happy to report I finally had surgery to resolve the problems.

Just to be clear - NOWHERE in any of the payment steps does it say that there will be a delay in “adding value” @wmata.com and it wad genuinely wild to not be allowed to leave when I was standing there showing that I had the ability to pay in my account but I was being told “no, you can’t use that

Doing something can be donating. Something can be volunteering. Something can be calling your reps incessantly. Something that be showing up to protests. Something can be showing up for your local community. Something can be loudly defending those who are being oppressed.

I’d say in the way my skillset is diverse is mapping, hers is even more so, in classical through modern art and design 🤩
