The rumors are flying fast and furious that Dems are considering pulling the plug and moving forward with no ACA changes. I sincerely hope NOT.
It's absolutely crazy for them to think about caving now!

Yeah. We get it NYT. You are officially the paper of retrograde thinking.

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

Dear @fetterman.senate.gov ‬, I'm sure you know how many sites and trails there are in PA that are managed by the National Park Service...and how many National Parks there are in surrounding states that offer recreation for the people in PA. It's a lot. People in PA LOVE their outdoors.
Park rangers have been given talking points amid cost cutting.

Job cuts = “attrition” and “workforce management actions.”

Service cuts = “prioritizing fiscal responsibility” and “staffing to meet the evolving needs of visitors.”

And NPS still offers “memorable and meaningful experiences for all.”

Respectfully, @durbin.senate.gov‬, just because the GOP wouldn't join in the effort to pass a 30-day clean CR, doesn't mean you should just scrap the whole thing! Do u think ANY GOP member wld say, "oh, well the Dems won't join, so forget it."? So, vote NO on cloture and keep pushing on the 30-day
I will continue to fight against Donald Trump’s reckless, and in many instances, illegal attempts to gut the federal government. He is testing our system of checks and balances like they haven’t been tested in my lifetime. The fight continues.

I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable.

Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes.

Virtually every swing district House Dem walked the plank to vote NO for a reason.
