No they aren't. Most people's idea of AI is it from one year ago at least if not much farther back

i hope you have a good day though and also understand tha i dont mean to promote either extreme of diving into a technology

It is a difference if you care about mental issues rather than just bullying people; but it is also one that requires you to be willing to learn and think about different context. Sadly a deep part of this issue isnt about being an ai fanboy but just ableism in general

This is what I mean; this is your own emotional burden manifesting . Ironically rather than being something that promotes a healthy caution, it is instead an emotional reaction of its own. Chatgpt doesnt drive people insane; rather aspects such as its mirroring increase existent psychosis

Ultimately at a minimum, you are both and you are thorne no matter what people think. Sometimes the odd divide is a bit of a line of its own ;p

but as even the article discusses, it is possible that even something like this can offer a similar benefit as to a letter-writing exercise to enable grief and moving on. I am not saying that we shouldn't be cautious in some way, but it seems more like people just try to create stigmatizing issues

Like if I am a hundred percent honest, I dont think any of this is about caring about other peoples happiness but caring about who you can find some way to shame other people for having a different need than you have or using something differently that you want to stigmitize

It can be a way for people to process through lack of existing or think about their memory for example, but feeling the need to control how others express their grief or free expression of emotion is not healthy either and that really seems to be more at the core of reactions to these

One of the worst types of behavior this attitude displays is treating Joy as a privilege. "How can you be so happy WHEN ALL THIS SUFFERING IS GOING ON AROUND US!?" Like only the bourgeoisie celebrate, and so partaking in it makes you a "class traitor" 🙄. Man, fuck that! Lighten up sometimes, jeez.

We should both be wary of the necessary safety ad ethics, but also be aware of how there is a lot of benefit to providing access as a whole that can come with it for some people
December 16, 2025 at 4:44 PM
Something to recognize though is this does increase access in some enviroments, especially more transcription usages and content summary. Though the security risk should be averse and be transitioned to local forms, AI is also being used in different places because it enables access too

and observing how you can think about the intergroup conflict aspect of it with regards to metadehumanization. Afterall with something as broad as we were talking about; how it is collectively used differs too. Even suzzanne kite discuss this

I apologize though for bothering you. Though you may only think about the genocidal side and it is good to be aware of that, as someone with a spinal injury and specifically because of my own interest in anthropology; I would say I am more aware of how other cultures think about it

Laurajane Smith literature is something to consider about when we think about the context of this discussion as a whole. Honestly was just trying to still have a discussion on things we can connect over with regards to anthropology and analysis.
