The first one that came to mind was the donkey in Shrek, but I wasn't 100% sure, so I googled it. Good thing I did: that was Eddie Murphy. I thought of another role. Also EM. I concluded I wasn't going to say hi to Chris Rock, because I apparently didn't know who he was.

The Boomers are probably the first generation for which wide material prosperity was the norm. Collecting a lot of stuff has historically been difficult to achieve. Now, as they die, we have the problem of lots of folks leaving behind lots of stuff that's mostly worthless in our disposable economy.

I feel like Calvin and a lot of the Reformation types were reacting to a culture that was focusing too much on deeds (like the prototypical indulgences) as a substitute for faith. But they swung the pendulum too far the other way, where now anti-deeds are what passes for faith. Balance is key.
