and less parkruns but there’s a beautiful light at the end of the tunnel. And you know what else? this is day 3 of recovery and i have hardly any pain! normally this is a pretty painful procedure. so, winning!!!

I knew I had Welsh ancestry way far back but didn't actually now how on earth I would find my great-great grandfather William Willams or his wife Annie, but lo and behold I've got a tie to her father from Swansea!

The love in the room last night was truly magical. I hope we gave her that feeling to take with her. And while this is about Clare I just want to say - I facilitated this. Had i not taken the chance to set up parkrun in Arnhem this entire thing would not have existed.

she was unfortunately laid off from work here in NL and decided to take a job back in the UK where she’s from. Of course we are gutted to lose her but understand why and all feel like we will see each other again. She did not know anything about the party.

She joined the core team, regularly RD’d and volunteered in other roles. She was our ladies course record holder until recently. Outside of parkrun she made friends with other regulars, hung out, ran events together, vacationed, etc. A genuinely wonderful part of the community.

you said “every”. every active person i know has had no knee surgery except for 1. Just 1. it’s a thing people love to say “oh, running is bad for your knees!”. But that’s just not true. i’ve been running for 15 years.

Marina is Giorgio’s sister. We made sure to also meet him last year at Uditore. parkrun in Palermo has been like no other for me. I am just so incredibly sad that Riccardo is gone but thankful there is no more suffering.
