on this note, the Ⓐ cookbook lists detailed instructions on how to make one of these bad boys, but they missed the mark on sealing the bottle properly. After many failed attempts, my partner found that the answer is playdoh. Something to keep in mind and keep handy...just in case.

If you really want to encounter a lot of views different from your own, go read some books. You don’t need right wing assholes screaming at you on social media for that. This can just be a place where you chill.

We’ve had viable solutions for mobility both within & between cities for a long time, like high-speed rail, prioritized public transit and networks of protected bike-lanes. We need leadership. And we need to stop letting “shiny new tech” distract us from implementing them. Image via UrbanThoughts11

Makes me sad re-reading this amazing letter from ex-Watergate Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox sent to high school seniors in 1994 after they asked him “What should Americans learn from Watergate?” 20 years later in ‘94.
His answer is remarkable—unfortunately things didn’t work out so well in 2024.

Incredible that the US government does more to protect Netanyahu from the consequences of his crimes than it does protecting the US people from Trump or his crimes.
