This was me this summer with cabbage white caterpillars on my broccoli. Didn't have netting and decided it would be something I'd figure out next year. This year I just have butterflies to watch instead 🙂

A friend of mine is really big on keeping guising alive. A bunch of us sit in her conservatory like a coven of witches and the kids come in and tell us jokes 😂 carved neeps instead of pumpkins too!

My partner made lots of delicious chili for a family event (which in retrospect thankfully we didn't end up going to) and the person heating it up added a load of sugar and ketchup! Apparently this "enhanced the flavour" but having had some of the leftovers the ketchup is overpowering 🤢

Six weeks ago, I picked up a year-old tawny owl with a broken leg off the main road near our home and dropped him off at our nearest vet.

After a few days, I received one of the most bizarre phone calls I’ve ever had, asking “So when are you coming to pick up your owl?” 🧵
