My dotty quilt pinned on another quilt. I have this one a couple of years ago and was never sure I like the binding. At some point I intend to add a different colour…..*adds to long list of works in progress*🥹

It's economic blackout day here in the States - and a big snowstorm here in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. 🤷♀️ I am planning to play with my sock project (thanks @russellbarratt.bsky.social for the Quilty Nook workshop), read a novel later, and hope the electricity stays on.

Dear #quiltsky, don't panic if your JoAnn's is closing. Get eco-friendly! Use fabric from garments & linens, like our quilting ancestors. Try rescuers like @swansonsfabrics.bsky.social. Check out thrift stores and yard sales. Organize a swap. We are swimming in fabric - keep it out of landfills.
