I left with a Kim Jong Un haircut, for the bargain price of £1.50 - the hairdresser lady was beaming with pride

And since that day, despite protestations at the time from friends who wanted to see the full haircut, all my selfies have been above eye level :)

Many years ago, at the start of my travelling adventures, I arrived in a very hot Thailand from a very cold Belgium needing a cooler haircut

I spotted a red and white barbers pole and a very enthusiastic elderly lady welcoming me. She didn't speak English, I didn't speak Thai, so we just pointed.
