When Rachel Reeves says she now supports airport expansion because planes fly differently to the way the did three years ago. I keep thinking she had been processed by Liz Truss.

I’ve listened to many of the Chancellor’s interviews on her 3rd runway & of the Prime Minister & ministers & I’ve struggled to hear a single word of sympathy for my constituents, who face being forced out of their homes & having their villages demolished. More than disappointing.

Council tax: Poorest 10% paying 7%; richest 10% pay 1.2%.

No govt plans to end inequity.

Feels like the media narrative post budget has now entirely focused on farmers.

Meanwhile the two child benefit cap currently affects nearly 2 million children.

Child poverty isn’t just a statistic – it’s a crisis. A crisis made from political choices. A crisis of clothing, heat and food.

According to the government's own figures, means-testing Winter Fuel Payments will push 50,000–100,000 more pensioners into poverty annually.

In the sixth largest economy, no-one should have to choose between heating or eating.

That’s why I voted against this harmful policy.

What the UK needs is massive change.

End Brexit.
End the House of Lords.
Tax the rich.
Renationalise all the essentials, Water, Power, Rail, Mail.

And change it so they can't be privatised again without a Referendum.

This should be treated as a national scandal. More than 1 in 3 children are now living in poverty in the UK as deprivation levels rise to the highest in the 21st century.
