Book and Writing Journey Coach, Online Writing Event Leader, Next Memoir Cohort in January. Find your big A.H.A. moment. The big cahuni of inciting events that create your Amazing Hook Attention-grabber with a universal AHA epiphany for the readers.
Can you disappear into a book and just be lost to the world? One of my favourite things to do is lose myself in fiction and fantasy. I read non-fiction in the mornings to learn and fiction or fantasy at night to escape and for mind candy.

Pomodoro Days are magical, so magical that one of my attendees also said she may want to host one as she finishes a bunch of tasks as well. That is my evil agenda by hosting these events. I finish my tasks on my to-do list too. We all do more with friends keeping us company.

This can be your year to finish your memoir. The choice is up to you. Find out more. I am looking for only two more people to join this year. Small, intimate groups mean more individual time for you. Are you in? Link in bio.

I adore this quote; I just wish I knew for sure who said it. The WWW says Jeanne Moreau and in other places it says Anais Nin. It can't be both! Does anyone have a surefire way of finding out who to attribute this quote to properly?

This is especially true for me. Give me a group where I am a participant, and I am writing and writing and producing content, better all the time with the consistent "practice." How do you show up for your pages? Do you need a group? Join the free Monday Writing Room. DM me.

Does this bring someone to mind or an experience you might want to write about? Pick up your pen or head to your keyboard and test it out; this may lead you to memoir content you may not have recalled until this very moment.

When you have questions about writing, find a safe place to ask them. One that is encouraging, one were the groups are welcoming and supportive or ask me how to start your own writing group wherever you are located and however you want to connect. I have loads of ideas for you.

When people say things like this after a STAY-Treat, it adds to that tingly feeling inside, nudging me to serve more writers from the zone of unconscious genius we all dip into when we tap into our passion. STAY-Treat #28 this Saturday. DM me or visit zurl.co/atbWu

One week from today, it's my absolute pleasure to invite Angela Legh, award-winning young adult author, to speak at the upcoming STAY-Treat in February. How perfect for Valentine's Day to speak about bringing emotion into your stories and writing. zurl.co/BZT3s

Have you ever felt the need to run away to an abandoned lighthouse and just be all on your own? Write about that and how, what, and when that changed for you.

If I have your address, you are likely to receive snail mail from me. Tell me one person who wouldn't light up at receiving a personal note. I bet you can't! I love sending notes and cards for that reason.

To me, a reader of everything with the possible exception of math, there is always something to learn from each & every book, even if it is to not do something. What is the best thing you have gleaned from a book, newspaper, magazine, blog? What resonates long after you read it?

Wishes are for dreamers. I suspect whoever said that may have had their own wishes squashed when just a little belief may have changed the outcome. Wishes do require action, though, I admit. What action are you taking today to land closer to your wish?

When such a meaningful poem comes along, one just has to share it. Thank you, Sarah La Rosa, for this powerful piece of poetry.

Just the opposite tradition they use at a wedding, right? I know, dark humour. It's the cleverness that grabs my attention. Words can be used in such clever ways.

I can't tell you how often I've seen similar memes to this, and they always make me smile. There is nothing new under the sun. Your story may be similar to another writer's, yet your story will still resonate with readers. Have you read multiple books on the same topic? I have.

Are you telling your stories? Do you have a safe group to practice your ideas with and encourage you?

This Jonathan fellow sure makes one think. This is not the first time I've honoured his posts. When my great nieces who are much taller than me kiss me on the forehead, it's like a flash fire of love and caring all rolled into that moment that lasts much longer.

This is a memoir I plan to study in depth for its accomplishment of reaching New York Times bestseller status. Just how did she do that? I intend to find out by reading, studying technique and whatever else I can glean from the finished result.

I must be organized to know exactly when each course I offer is happening. It is so much fun offering Radiant Rewriters, Writers Workout Wednesdays, Maintaining Memoir Momentum, The Submission Circle, Pomodoro Day, Writers' Lounges, STAY-Treats, and the Monday Writing Room...

Asking yourself what drives you to write may reveal a completely different answer than Natalie Goldberg. It may light your fire to a brighter hue, it may reinvigorate you or solve mysteries or lead you into a new story. Where does the question take you?

I didn't know all these facts. What I do know is that I would listen to anyone who can recite his poetry in a Scottish accent. Haggis? I will leave that one alone. I loved walking in Scotland, just listening to people talk.

Quotes. You can rightfully accuse me of being obsessed with quotes that make me think. Where does this one take you on the page? Great memoir topics and themes might be found in this quote from William Blake.
