A wonderful workshop day throwing clay over at Higher Fire in San José today: two hours instruction with pre-centered lumps of clay. We each learned to press down, pull, draw our cylinder up, and shape it; picked a glaze color; they'll trim, put our name & date, glaze; we'll pick up in some weeks.
