My densely planted border has bind weed...ahhhh!. I try pull it out but it breaks off. There is no room to dig. I have tried using putting it in a bag with a herbicide. It has come back as strong. Any other gardeners have ideas?

Fig tree looking good. Had some gigs so far. Does anyone know how long to leave the ripening figs on for. Have picked after gone brown and drooped. Is this right?
