Part of what's happening really does seem to be a combination of folks believing the problem will solve itself when Trump implodes and not wanting to be in the first wave to storm the beach if storming the beach becomes unavoidable.
These people all know that 🇺🇸 democracy, international cooperation, & globalization make them rich & are the lifeblood of their multinational corporations. I don't expect them to speak out on lots of terrible things. But basic dismantling the government & rule of law really should be the line 🤷♂️
Even if you strip it down simply to naked material political economy interests, these leaders should be out speaking extremely loudly against all of the senseless destruction of institutions & foundational pillars of American power, influence, & prosperity. They get rich from it all. It vexes me.
