I'm having to buy a big mixing bowl to replace one that's cracked after 18 years of service, so I've gone for this one. There were some Mason & Cash beauties, but this Tala one got the vote.

First loaf in over a year from my lockdown sourdough starter that's been starving in the fridge. Amazing how a couple of days of tlc can bring it back to life! Far from perfect, but edible.

Today's soup is spiced carrot with salty crunchy topping.

Just delivered the most ridiculous 'concept' gift to my mate. It started of with a vaguely French looking tea-towel & some cute napkins & ended up as 'Breakfast in Paris' with a light-up Eiffel Tower (I knew she'd have croissants in the freezer).

Procrastinating via medium of Vinted today. Delighted with 3d triangle necklace. Had it in gold from Oliver Bonas years ago & was my fave, but kept on breaking. Tried to get it fixed, soldered or replicated but jeweller thought I was mad.
Found 2 on vinted and they're both coming to live with me.

Launderette bun fight over the tumble driers. I reign supreme bacause I used the washing machines. Result! Also found list avocado plushy that daughter was convinced one of us had stolen.
