I don't want to gatekeep fandom, but I cannot help but to think of these wise words from the ancient texts: "Lurk moar"

I think people these days expect everything to have an algorithm that determines what you see and so cant fathom the idea of website without one. It's like when my brother as a kid being confused by my old Atari because to him computers=internet so how can there be an internet without internet

I have wondered if that might be the reason because it's always the kind of tags that people commonly exclude. I haven't seen any "visibility tagging" in my fandoms, but I have seen people repost their fics to game "the algorithm".

It is. And I've always known that it is. And yet somehow I still have assumed that it has a hard G...

I'm fairly sure that it is :D I've just always for some reason assumed that it was a hard G until today I started questioning myself :D
