Chapter 4 fought me tooth and nail. Kinda like Lyney and company are fight to survive the Chasm. Meanwhile Childe and Zhongli continue to be Like That, spectating their attempts.

The AO3 header for the fic linked in the post. “I think I preferred them when they languished inside their box,” Zhongli said dryly, as they watched the trio scurry through the chaos, unnoticed in the panic of the evacuation. “Alas, like they say back home, once you take the muzzle off the bear, there’s no guarantee it’ll let you put it back on,” Childe replied, clearly entertained by the proceedings. “That is not a thing,” Zhongli spluttered, eyebrows arched in disbelief. “What’s not a thing?” Childe asked, rather pleased to see the first thing the trio did as soon as they hit the surface was to dive away from the roads, face towards the ground, hidden from view by the grass. “Putting muzzles on bears,” Zhongli replied, giving Childe a dubious look for his trouble. “And that itself being a saying in Snezhnaya, as a result.” “I didn’t say Snezhnaya, I said back home,” Childe said, eyebrows wiggling teasingly until Zhongli gave up and gifted him the amused snort he was after. He looked terribly smug as they walked leisurely behind the scurrying trio that inched their way across the grassland with terrible care. If they got caught, it was unlikely they would be able to use the same method twice, to escape the Chasm. “The boss of the garrison back in Morepesok is from Nod-Krai. He used to tell us stories, growing up, about the people there. He said the leader of the frost moon scions used to ride a carriage pulled by bears, until a band of treasure hoarders tried to raid their settlement and she took off their muzzles. And that was the end of the bear-pulled carriage. And the treasure hunters, sure, but I don’t reckon anyone mourned them.” Zhongli shook his head, looking up at the orange sky. “I stand corrected,” he said, and laughed when Childe tugged him into his arms for a kiss, swift and decisive. “Honestly, Childe.” “Do you even know what that is?” Childe replied, eye dancing with mischief as he bared his teeth in a facsimile of a smirk, lopsided like a scythe.

You can find and pin feeds focused on specific things, they tend to track posts that have keywords in them so you get a curated feed, there is one specific Zhongchili feed I pinned that I am very satisfied with
