Trying to get a new office chair is an exercise in hell. All the photos are AI so you know damned well the company doesn't ever see the products, they just get drop-shipped. 43 companies selling the same chair at different price points and slightly different ai-generated images of it.

And even with those privileges, immigration was an expensive, life-altering struggle. I cannot even begin to imagine the hell of navigating the Home Office without being a native English speaker. It's hard and cruel on purpose, because they do not want us here.

A: If immigrants aren't working, they're lazy and steal benefits from hardworking UK taxpayers.
B: If immigrants ARE working, they are stealing jobs from would-be hardworking UK citizens.

You cannot reason with people who just want to be racist.

The employment rate of non-EU born migrants exceeded that of the UK-born for the first time on record.

Confirms other evidence that recent migrants (even if they did not arrive on work visas) are very likely to be working/have high employment rates.
