Another interesting tidbit.
Halifax-Shearwater stayed below the freezing mark for 10 consecutive days from January 24th through February 2nd and that's the longest stretch below zero for the city since January of 2007!!!
(February 2015, had one day that jumped above zero)

I did some digging into the 10 day stretch from January 23rd-February 1st and it was impressively cold.
In fact, it was the coldest 10 day stretch since that infamous winter of 2015 across most of Nova Scotia and PEI and the coldest 10 day stretch in a few years elsewhere.
