With recycling day being today and with a planned trip after New Year, the Christmas tree came down today and is out at the curb.
Sometimes practicality feels a bit Grinchy. It was a good tree.

But before bed I’m pouring myself a scotch and allowing myself to feel sad for a few minutes.
