#92 - Danny Phantom (S3) (2007) [FINALE]

A mess of a season with maybe 2-3 solid episodes and a smattering of okay ones at best. The show’s premise fully falls apart as it nosedives to a tonally mismatched, nonsensical finale that it did not earn. Main upside is short moments of cool animation.

Not even a W in the Microsoft Word icon anymore. So we’ve just fully given up, huh?

#91 - Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair (2025)

Been meaning to see these as a double feature already! Tone confused me at times, but it’s a great set of movies with a lot to love. I can see why Vol. 2 would’ve been poorly received standalone, but it’s good here, if still disjointed.

#90 - The Black Cauldron (1985)

well that was a gorgeous piece of shit

Story is a total mess, dialogue is rote and boring, but the visuals (especially in the D+ 4K release) are fucking gorgeous and wonderfully macabre. Wish we could’ve seen the original untampered vision for this movie.

#89 - Die Hard (1988)

Another “how have you not seen this yet?!” movie finally off the list.

This fucking rocked. An absurd male power fantasy movie that knows exactly what it is. Just raw fun. Great cast. I loved the campy score.

McClane had more raw chemistry with Powell than his own wife.

Also in Display & Brightness. If you’re talking about when it’s plugged in and laid down horizontal, they call that Standby.

#88 - The Incredibles 2 (2018) (Rewatch)

It’s no secret I haven’t loved Pixar sequels. Always held the opinion that this was the most inoffensive of them, though, and I’m glad to see I was right on that AND I liked it a lot more on a rewatch. Still have PLENTY of complaints to lob at it, though.

#87 - The Incredibles (2004) (Rewatch)

Outright one of the best movies ever made and I have absolutely no reservations saying that. I only love it more with age and every time I see it I’m proven right. Always something new to appreciate; actually got misty-eyed in places I usually don’t.

#86 - Real-Time Fandub: Do No Harm

I love this show’s format and I adore seeing a group with comedic chemistry. Extremely strong improv from literally everybody; not a single actor goes without time in the spotlight. I love seeing a story start to form out of the chaos. Theme song’s a BANGER.

#85 - Sarah Millican: Late Bloomer @ ATL

Long and funny story about how I ended up here in the first place, but that aside: I had a good time, laughed plenty, strong opening act, but my opinion sours over time realizing how surface-level a lot of jokes were. Also was kind of rude in a weird way…?

#84 - Danny Phantom (S2) (2005-2006)

I love this show, it means to much to me and my formative years, but while the mid-point of this season is overall fantastic kid’s television, the premise falls apart and the inability to fully commit to the tone or breaking of the status quo starts to catch up.
