I’ll be heading to Chicago to catch my connector and then I’ll be Philly bound. I know that sounds like an awful long time on a train, but I don’t mind. I find train travel to be relaxing, therapeutic, and scenic.

Anyways, here’s to my continuing journey and don’t forget, read a book!

Since then, I have been reading a lot, and I can’t believe until recently I picked up on the fact that a lot of what I’ve read has had queer subtext and/or queer characters. I don’t know if this is subconscious or coincidental, but I will say, I feel like these books are apart of my on going journey

It also dealt with themes such as toxic masculinity and how being around groups of men strife with toxic masculinity can not only rub off on you but make everything in your life significantly worse. That’s something else I’ve had a history with. So congrats Bored Gay Werewolf, you really moved me

This is what the new resistance will look like, more defensive and less offensive. We need people defenders right now. We need more people of faith like Bishop Budde, who believes in the Church as a power to help the marginalized instead of spewing hate towards them.
