Superbowl ICE operation

Kristi Noem says that ICE will be at the Superbowl to arrest all the illegal immigrants at the game. Ticket prices on the resale market are now over $6,000. Hotel prices will be astronomical. How many of these people does Noem think will be there?

Lying is rampant

Statements that nothing in Signalgate was classified show that lying in the Trump administration is more contagious than measles in Gaines County, Texas.

As this article shows, the chat was “born classified”.

Hegseth, Gabbard, Waltz, et al. lied.

Pete Hegseth says the Signal chat had 'no classified information.' How is that possible?

The stupid tariff formula has disappeared from the Trump gov't website, but they didn't explain why. We know why. It was stupid, like the bozo who loves tariffs but doesn't understand them.

Removing the tariff formula without replacing it sends a clear message: The Trump administration may not be interested in economic truth.

More lies!

Another of Trump’s lies at the Nat. Rep. Congressional Committee on Tuesday is below.

If this were true he just screwed these businesses that spent to prepare for the tariffs. Without the big tariffs they will lose money on all these new plants.

The bozo can’t get his story straight.

One of Trump’s many lies at the National Republican Congressional Committee on Tuesday:

“Countries are paying tariffs. Right now, China is paying a 104 percent tariff. Think of it, 104 percent.”

NO! AMERICANS are paying the 104% tariff!

GOP reps and senators are too cowardly to call him on it.

Woke and Trade Deficits

“Woke” means “awake” or “not asleep”.

If you sleep through your economics classes you are not woke. On the other hand you are ignorant about trade deficits and tariffs.

This explains 3 things about Trump:
- His degree from Penn
- His economic policies
- His hatred of woke

The bright side (if there is one) of Trump’s stupid and laughable tariffs: We get a geography lesson.

This article has a map of these rather obscure islands!

The EU tariffs on the U.S. average less than 3%. Trump says they're 39%.

We can guess that Trump took the trade deficit with the EU ($B216) and divided by our imports from the EU ($B584) = 37% and added about 2% for exaggeration. That is not a tariff rate. It has nothing to do with tariffs.

At his inauguration Trump said,

"Instead of taxing our citizens to enrich other countries, we will tariff and tax foreign countries to enrich our citizens."

That was a variation of his lie that foreign countries pay the tariffs we enact.

pathological liar…

Is Mike Johnson as big a fool as he claims? Today he said,

"It may be rocky in the beginning but I think this will make sense for Americans and it will help all Americans."

Maybe he lacks the courage to speak the obvious truth to Trump.
April 3, 2025 at 12:38 AM
The effects of the tariffs are so obvious that they are not news.

He told us he would increase tariffs, so the Trump voters got what they voted for.

Who is stupider, Trump or his voters? Sorry for the disrespect, but anybody with a bit of curiosity could figure this out (or watch Ferris Bueller).

That's not currently the case, unfortunately, and the results are unsurprising.

Auto Insurance Rates Raised by Trump

You don’t have to buy a car to be affected by Trump’s tariffs. Tariffs affect the cost of repair parts like body panels. Insurance rates are affected.

Another way Trump raises prices.

If you voted for Trump you voted for this. He told you about tariffs.
