LLM dudes bragging about, "synthetic data", usage

Recently, for _reasons_, I had to use a site that required "uploading" documents via webcam with web-browser :-|

... why is beyond me...

But, a little OBS virtual webcam magics saved some trees. And time. And this pleases me more than the website displeased me x-)

POV when I find a bug between documented behavior vs reality;

github.com/stripe/strip...

... and it turns out the divergence, between documented behavior vs reality, is, "mostly by design" :-|
`stripe-mock` returning `null` for `client_secret` via NodeJS's `stripe.checkout.sessions.create` · Issue #1628 · stripe/stripe-mock
TLDR: stripe-mock returning null for client_secret via, const { client_secret } = await stripe.checkout.sessions.create({ /*...*/ }) ... but NodeJS via stripe.paymentIntents.create(params) does ret...

If it seems like I've been a quite as of late, it's may be I've been building infra, backend, and things for a new product!

Cannot say much, for reasons, but can say it ain't _enhanced_ by no slop ;-)

... And if things go well, then _soon™_ I may have want of a designer

Free tech-tip for attracting top talent, use following keyboard short cuts in both browsers;

- Firefox → Ctrl^Shift^K
- Chromium → Ctrl^Shift^J

... If you see red, then they see red, and your dev-team should fix it!

Otherwise, be like Org's walking 'round with fly down |-:

Spam: hey can you promote co-pilot mustard class hand book thingy?

Me: I'm not sure I can help promote training with tools that are little different than reading tea leaves... But I am open to helping with tech/training that provides reliable, and real, value to users ;-)

Anti-cheat, but instead of banning cheaters things get tougher and/or glitchy for 'em, who be building this?

I've been witness to the moments when someone drops the belief of, "I cannot do anything"

... and, with confidence earned, says "hodl my beer!" before making something remarkable

I've successfully wiped MicroSoft™ Windows® plus EULA© version 10 from a device

Now using NixOS on bare-metal, instead of dual-booting via USB or via virtual machine.

Mostly happy with the results... _mostly_

Today I (re)learned how trashy GitHub's DevEx is for code review

Glance at the "Files changed" tab, think thoughts at replying to a code review, caress the text input box, and suddenly all replies are "Pending"!

Reviewers wont see replies until submitting via extra clicks :-|

I've seen production sites do;

console.clear();

... as a "_security_ measure" on the client-side.

Proompting challenge, using only questions, how few proompts does it take you to gaslight LLM(s) into to admitting it broke wind?

Periodic reminder; fifteen minutes of reading the manual plus five minutes of Bash scripting, can save hours of faffing-about with a _real_ programming language's tooling.

... because big projects that require much review shouldn't slow-down one's progress, or prevent dog-fooding new features/fixes.

`RockstarLang/rockstar` was published on the GitHubs, so managers had to find a different buzz-word/term.

`joaomilho/Enterprise` The Enterprise™ programming language is of a similar _vibe_

... Few more months wouldn't surprise me if CrackedLang gets published x-)
