At/about, you know what I mean.

I think there are times where this sort of display can be justified, and Newcastle away is one of those. The first half was pretty poor, but I felt we were improved second half. I wouldn't want us to play like this at home or against lesser sides though, which is the issue right now.

Absolutely. It wasn't even an error. If that's a penalty, every single corner in the league would result in a penalty.

I hate suggesting corruption normally.

Just walk off the pitch, lads. That's an absolute disgrace. Did the Saudis pay for that one or something?! #COYS

I think it was pretty clear Porro would struggle against the pace of Gordon, so maybe Spence should've come on, but I think we were mostly in the ascendancy before their goal so it's tough.

In another timeline, he's a Spurs player, fresh off the back of being booed off the pitch. I suspect he's quite happy with the outcome he ended up with.

The usurped family were not of English origin. Plenty of people in the restaurant were not as well, including an Asian family sat on the next table, who left shortly after.

It's increasingly apparent now that racists feel emboldened to be openly racist. Cheers, Nigel. What a country this now is.

But if Porro and others were enraged with the fans then Frank is duty bound to defend his players, is he not?

He's stuck between a rock and a hard place with this one.

I know that was rhetorical but I think the point was that he wasn't doing a good job, and that his attitude and general demeanour had become a problem too.

The question is whether we actually hired a better manager, and one that can deliver the style of football that we fans demand.

Yep, and if we're honest, we weren't really very good in the Europa for the most part, against massively inferior opposition in most games.

It's been a very long time since we were a good team.

We have to be honest about that Europa victory as well. We were heavy favourites going into the competition because our squad was so much better than almost every other side in it. We didn't exactly dominate it either, we rode our luck at times and mostly against vastly inferior opposition.
