I see my friends panicking about elves, and if they have enough presents and trying to buy branded stuff and spending hundreds. Mine had 4 presents and I barely spent anything and he's perfectly happy. And my house doesn't look like a supermarket festive aisle threw up in it.

He's just walked in and the dogs seen him, ran over and jumped straight on him almost knocking him over. Cue fits of giggles as he gets licked to death. And exasperation from the handler because the dog WILL NOT listen to her when my son is around. At all. It's hilarious and adorable.

So yeah... That was an expensive Christmas 🤣 should have been £150 but thankfully the seller took pity on me when they heard my story and did it for a LOT less than that with shipping. For a hand made recreation. And it was worth it to see his little face. That was 4 years ago and he still adores it

I'd never really did the concept of Santa with him because he was terrified of Santa. The thought of a strange man breaking into the house during the night to leave presents scared him. But he still knew the generic idea and he kept saying if he wasn't going to get it because he was bad.

I had this problem with a teddy. My little boy is autistic and saw some teddy that no longer exists and wanted it. It was ALL he spoke about for months. Even his teachers talked about how much he wanted this teddy. He wouldn't sleep at all. Ended up finding someone on Etsy who made it him.
