The brief to Milk VFX when creating Crawley (as a snake): had to be big and menacing in size relating to an anaconda, but the actual look was more of a black mamba- a red-bellied black snake (Australian) because it stayed true to Crowley’s theme throughout the show (red/black)🧵

For the wings: modeled after swans. They had to pay even closer attention to Crowley’s black wings because even though they follow the same model, they had to maintain the iridescence and reflection of the white wings. To play with that, they looked at crows wings and how they behaved
