(1/2) We had a great time at our holiday mixer last week! Longtime members and new folks alike shared a great potluck, reflected on the work SVTU has engaged in this year, and did some visioning for how we will continue to build a powerful tenant movement in 2026 and beyond.

After nearly a year of struggle the Palms tenants took their fight to Dan Wayne's $7M mansion in a picturesque gated community in Irvine that includes a private golf club with an 18 hole course, a fitness and swim club with a junior olympic pool and spa, tennis courts, and extensive hiking trails.

Finally, we got to sit in on the Highland Park local meeting -- an organized, militant, and vibrant community tenants have built to support each other and defend their neighborhood. We dream of building similar thriving locals here in Sacramento!
