Well, yeah, it was political theater. I think it’s totally valid to want more of that/than that but until there’s enough votes in either chamber the result will be the same every time. I think it’s fair to disagree on how much is necessary at any given time to bring attention to any given issue..

Well, they literally shut the government down for 6 weeks, the longest it has ever happened. You can totally argue that they were wrong to cave when they did, I think so too, but it's intellectually dishonest to say they're literally doing nothing.

As a true American hypocrite, I guess I’m praying for intangible strategies of keeping a united front, digitally and IRL, against the actual Bad Guys without any fresh ideas of my own. 😌

I don’t have any answers either, and frequently talk out of my ass about shit I’m uninformed on, but I think it would be healthier to keep a mentality of offering alternative strategies when we vent to the void, so long as they’re not “national strike”.

I totally agree that national Democrats are dropping the ball in a lot of ways, and deserve/need criticism to succeed in the future, but I don’t think designating them as the Sin Eaters for all of Trump’s crimes and offenses helps literally anyone.
