I'm a "certified elder". After digging in garden all afternoon, I sure feel it.

Congratulations to my niece Julia, the newest obligated engineer in the family. Happy to have her on the same 5-year Systems Design Engineering reunion interval as me and my cousin Alison 20 years after me! Her dad, David, is out of sync. Tsk.

CNE tradition and hands down the best food on the midway: fresh, hot waffles and a slice of vanilla ice cream. 🧇🍦🧇

Early morning is a good time to catch views on the midway without crowds blocking the shot if you’re a bit patient. Loved the colours and kooky prizes at this water shooting game.

15,000 steps checking out what’s what at Magic Kingdom and Epcot today. I’ll tell you what, it was 37 degrees, humid, and sunny. Thank goodness for water refill stations and my insulated tumbler tote. Still abstaining from acceleration for the time being (💔TRON). But I rode the people mover.

Villain Con at Universal Orlando is a delightful attraction. The many ways of interacting in and around the attraction make it fun.

I am officially a villain! A decent first round score, too, of 617,055 - albeit just 51st on today's leaderboard, and played a couple more times, levelling up to level 12. Lots of wrinkles in the gameplay to make it worth repeating. Too bad the preview walk-on queues are no more!

I worked so hard for that point in this heat.
Garmin shouldn’t hold its breath waiting for my step count tomorrow…
