The problem here is that it precisely did meet their usual standards. Lobbying is all opaque. Fake, massively funded research orgs, think tanks, supplying 'experts' for every right wing need, climate, COVID, same dark money, same BBC bias, same public indifference

We saw him interview Lineker, there was only one person in that conversation capable of independent thought and making reasoned comments, & that's why he could no longer work at the BBC

"Banned" very deliberately implying cheating. They were forced to use taxis so they couldn't interact with local population, it was done to be cruel, to isolate. Cost gets exposed on TV so now they lie and use it to further demonise asylum seekers. Labour are a disgrace, the BBC is a disgrace.

For me this has been the single hardest thing about the pandemic, discovering the truth behind the statement in this post isn't something you can come back from. Late 2022 was when it hit me.

BREAKING, otherwise excellent journalist acts as patsy for COVID inquiry whitewash, repeats sound bites that pandemic is historic event, refuses to engage with huge body of science showing COVID harm at population level just emerging, because readers do not want to hear this.

The frustration is even people like James O'Brian ( & every other left wing commentator), really solid on almost everything, understands the dark money, fake think tank influences in other areas, but just will not go near COVID

The main thing is not to question the ongoing lie, no-one wants to know COVID is still here, infects the brain, causes chronic inflammation, depletes immune cells, reactivates EBV, increases risk of dementia, coronary illness IN. YOUR. KIDS. Whatever you do don't actually check if this is all true

I spent 2+ years more or less spending every waking hour thinking of how I could get through and trying to get through, I thought I wasn't getting it right, I hadn't realised they actively did not want to hear or understand. I stopped trying, the cost to my mental health was too high.

Also, standing up for what you know is right is harder than doing what you're told, taking the money and avoiding eye contact with your kids. They are all choosing the easy route to power, there's nothing tough about that.
