A rare field day, getting to know the forests of our @safenet-eu.bsky.social case study area in Romania, near Brasov. Impactful to see the shifts in species dominance already happening. Spruce and, crucially, Silver Fir are not doing well, Beech is gaining importance even at higher elevations.
