I may have been overly ambitious trying my hand at brioche patterned knitting. The chart makes my head spin. Cotton doesn't seem to be elastic enough to make brioche sparkle, but I love the colors! It will be a beautiful learning process either way. I need something different after gift knitting. 🧶

One more row, then time to tackle my first i-cord bind off. I'm so sad the Advent calendar shawl is almost done. It's been such a fun journey watching the colors blend and unwind. My inner child loves the Lisa frank vibe!

Fuchsia complete. On to the first of 2 purples before bind off. Progress is slowing as the rows are lengthen toward the end of the triangle shawl. The colors are pretty, so I don't mind. ❤️

Session 81 marks the end of a level 1 to 20 campaign. Sad to see it done, glad we "won at d&d." I'll miss my charismatic barbarian. 🥲

My hands and wrists have been aching this past week, and I blame the bamboo circulars. Picked up a set of Lykke Colour this morning, and it is a night and day difference. Knitting with them makes my teeth dance in the best way, plus who doesn't love a set of rainbow tools? 😍🧶 #knitsky

The purple stripes are done and the gradient section begins. These two mini skeins are playing so well together. I'm spoiled to bits by this cashmere blend, hand-dyed by my local yarn shop. It's hard to put down as I want to see how the next row of color unfurls. #knitsky #wip

Feeling under the weather day, and mustering the motivation to do anything but nap is a challenge.

Can't stop won't stop opening more boxes of the shawl Advent calendar so I can keep knitting. In my defense, the triangle shape grows a stitch or two longer every two rows. I need all 8 colors to finish the 1st section of stripes before starting the 2nd, much wider, section. 🧶 #knitsky #spoilers 🪨🎁❤️

Gardens of Giverny shawl is off the needles, washed, and drying. What a difference blocking makes! The before and after is wild. I gasped when I laid it out on a towel to squeeze dry. 🥰😍🧶 #knitsky So grateful to my LYS for creating these beautiful color ways.

I lost yarn chicken. I wound up using the main color to complete the last 50 stitches of the last row, then I cut the working green yarn and had to rejoin again cause I am center pull all day long always and forever. Only 8 more rows of garter then a picot bind off! #knitsky 🧶

Only one more lace repeat to go for the gardens of Giverny shawl. If my math is right, I'll have enough multicolored yarn with 3 grams leftover, then on to the border in luscious green. To be honest, I don't think I'll make it through the next repeat. 😅🧶 #knitsky
