One time a wrestler got mad at *a different promotion* for not putting the belt on him, so he messaged the booker at the time for *our* promotion like "fuck you, I quit" and we are still baffled.
All that is to say, wrestlers' egos are sensitive and unpredictable lmao don't try to make sense of it

I think if more fandom types watched, like, a handful of episodes of a pro wrestling show, were taught the concepts of faces and heels, and the way they interact with the audience, some media discussions would go a lot better. It may not help, but I don't think it would hurt lol
