Joined in on the first qualitative interview @sajedehra.bsky.social is doing for her PhD, interviewing scientists involved in large scale coordinated research projects. Incredibly interesting. Qualitative research and talking to scientists in other disciplines is providing a wealth of information.

#4MwinterSchool @lakens.bsky.social asks:

Which research is valuable enough to do well?

Which skills do you need to learn as a PhD student to do research well?

How much time would you need to develop sufficient expertise in each skill?

Great history lesson from @lakens.bsky.social with the @psicostat.bsky.social group at the University of Padova. History is repeating itself, but we also get a little better after each crisis was the positive take away for me.

Inspiring work by @sajedehra.bsky.social et al. on identifying the various benefits of coordination in science, and providing a better language to talk about what coordination in science actually *is*.
I personally long to one day be part of a truly coordinated research line.
