I kinda always thought most of the people in this country had
zero knowledge about it's own
history and taking lessons from it, but I never thought we'd get to a point where a little less than half the country would be happy with returning to the Gilded Age
and think Nazi Germany looked

We’re headed towards a set of Trump speech regulations where big centralized platforms only get to exist if they tweak their algos to favor those in power - which makes the overall success of federated networks like Bluesky, Threads, and Mastodon very important. Don’t miss the forest for the trees!

Opening BlueSky has become like when I first started using that other app. I would open it to laugh and enjoy myself. Recently it was more of a hassle to scroll past right wing ad after right wing ad to get to what I wanted to see. BlueSky is such a refreshing change.

Now that most of my sports follows made their way over, not much need for the other site. Still waiting on a few stragglers though.
