Anyway when you encounter people who voted for Trump and are now shocked about what he's doing you can make yourself feel better for 2 seconds by condescending them and cheering at their suffering or you can say "It sounds like you were lied to" and maybe that leads them somewhere. Up to you.

My gentle advice for the next four years (or the last four, or the four before that, or…) is that you do not have any obligation to debate with anyone about what you see and hear happening with your own eyes and ears.

Judy, please! The balance of information in the UN report was about predatory men abusing girls & women. I have been to far too many candlelight observances for transGENDER people who succumbed to violence. My trans spouse nearly took their life. Speaking of life, it's passed you by, DARLING.

Because you are skimming a red herring argument. Distract about fairness in sports and ignore your marginalization and, frankly, your obsession with transpeople. It's not that simple, and you won't rexognize it. Someone has to talk about the inconvenience of violence since you won't.

Your narrative was addressed. And then the conversation went to a far more serious concern amoung transfolks. They are at much greater risk of being victims of violence, including murder... and then on another tangent (so you can follow along) hating themselves so much that they'd rather die.
