The BBC beaming Putin into my living room. It’s disgraceful!

The Hillsborough families have been treated so badly. It’s absolutely shocking to hear that the latest report contains nothing significant except an admission that several Police Officers should have faced charges but they never will and enjoy their retirement.

Spent 3 hours this afternoon learning about the new #OFSTED framework. At a Nottingham Schools Training event. Very good but as always daunting

Paying tax is a good thing. I only sneaked into the higher rate tax band for a brief period in my working life and it seemed like something to celebrate!
If we all paid our fair share everyone would benefit from better public services, cleaner environment and better life chances, what’s not to like?

Amazing contrast between News Headlines on BBC & ITV tonight - The BBC going on about loads of people paying more taxes, versus ITV thousands of children lifted out of poverty

10 people have made allegations about Farage’s racism at school, exposing themselves to more potential abuse - admirable

What should disturb many UKIP/Brexit/REF supporters is that Gill’s (public) pro-Russia speeches & acting were seen by them as *entirely consistent with UKIP/Brexit/REF anti-EU policies & so unremarkable. It should make them think again about Farage - & Brexit. Cui bono? Not them.

Make polluters pay for poisoning our children
10 years ago it was revealed that many diesel cars were being fitted with illegal technology that means they emit levels of toxic gases (NOx) exceeding testing and legal limits. These emissions…

At the beginning of the war in Ukraine, at the first rally at the Brian Clough statue, I tried to reassure the community “this Government doesn’t welcome refugees but we do in Nottingham”. I hoped things would change for the better nationally with a Labour Government, how wrong could I be?

This member is also despairing. I’m hoping those backbenchers have a strong backbone - I’m sure none of them went to Parliament expecting this!

Labour are yet again dancing to Reform’s drum, and in the process they’re herding voters to their left and right:"

Tommy Robinson, meanwhile, has suggested the announcement is a victory for the far right. So, well done Labour - great work.

I’m with Stella Creasy (and I suspect most Labour members) on this, these measures are unnecessary, won’t work & are cruel (and they won’t make Reform voters decide to vote Labour!)

The idea that the installation of “so called rain gardens” is damaging people’s daily lives in Mansfield is bonkers, but the local Labour MP seems to agree!
