Well the interesting news is I randomly looked at job postings today. I found one local to me that pays less, but health insurance is way less and I actually use my degree. My commute would go from 60 miles to 5....

But there is a plus side! TCL tvs all use very similar power boards, so the model board does not need to match exactly. I have a power board that has the same model number, but the letter in it is different. Works just fine. Changed it because the other TV had a cracked screen.

Deceptive advertising gets you there too! To many times I have seen them advertised as "Motion enhanced for 120 refresh" meanwhile the actual refresh rate is 60.

I have a TCL that is 4k 120hz. Its nice but I run 1440 at 120 unless I can run 4k at 120. Not all console games can unfortunately. And even then, you need the HDMI cable to do it.

1080p at more than 120 would be amazing.

On this one, when I read it today, they cited the risk of "Fevers and seizures that generally are not harmful in the long term and are most common in specific age ranges" and is very rare.

But it seemed to me that they changed nothing. A whole lotta "I did this" when they didnt.
