Unfair of her to say the man in a chicken outfit 'could do better'. As chicken outfits go, I'd say his is quite good.

If you're serious, Jane, I would be happy to provide them when I can carve out a moment (busy week!), because it would take a while to pull it all together and, frankly, if you are serious I think you should easily be able to find it for yourself.

If they want to make sure people who are disabled and unable to work are fully supported, I can tell you as a disabled person who's worked in & around the disability sector for 30 years they could not be more spectacularly failing. Withdrawing essential support, bullying people to work who can't...😡

So please can Darren Jones & co explain why they appear to be doing everything they possibly can to drive people down that much darker path?

It's always vital to look beyond the current context and consider worst case scenarios. In this case it would establish a means of potentially coercive state (or whatever replaces it if dismantled) control of every citizen - a means of gatekeeping access to just about anything & anywhere.

If people learned more about their conditions, I suspect it was (and still is) because most medics are utterly clueless.

Thank you for the Executive Summary

Yes, the subtext seems to be that people spent lockdown convincing themselves they have complex illnesses they don't really have, e.g. Long Covid, ME, etc. It's one of the most bizarre explanations I've heard (and that's saying something!)

If you thought you'd heard it all where it concerns explanations for increased demand for healthcare 'post-Covid' without mentioning the health impacts of ongoing Covid, I refer you to Cabinet Sec Neil Gray's response to the Citizen Participation & Petitions Committee yesterday 😕

Hugely proud that our Founder & Director Dr Sally Witcher is be part of this incredible initiative. Keen to know what your priorities would be for action on healthy indoor air. There's a long way to go to get even health, social care & education settings to take this seriously here in Scotland & UK.

1. As someone at high clinical risk interacting online daily with others locally & globally whose lives are similarly restricted due to unsafe indoor air, I couldn't be more honoured & excited to be part of this landmark initiative to make healthy indoor air a priority for every country & community

4/4 Even though indoor air can be 3-5 times more polluted than outdoor air & we spend around 90% of our time indoors, we have much work to do to get @scottishgov.bsky.social and @rthonwesstreeting.bsky.social to take healthy indoor air seriously even in healthcare. Please help to change this 🙏

He just says any old nonsense, the more ridiculous, the more extreme, the more MSM and everyone feels compelled to devote attention to it. Boring, as an obvious ploy, & dangerous as a) his supporters are so unhinged they believe it & b) bad stuff goes on unseen while everyone's distracted.
