I hadn't expected to own a V8 either, and then somehow a couple of years back I found myself with two of them

The Corvair. An innovative and progressive car, the kind of thinking which could've kept America ahead in the global auto race.

As if to prove your point, I thought it was an F8 Tributo, but it's actually a 488. Presumably the nose is styled after the then-current F1 car, one of the last years of the raised noses before crash regs forced them down.
458 is nat-asp so no huge air intakes. SF90 lacks rear side windows.

It is an extraordinary change. I do think that some places are better provisioned for tourists now as a result, so it's not all worse.

If it pushes people to get off the beaten track and explore more of the country, that would be no bad thing.

Ooh interesting, someone with actual experience of these!

The Conti tyre was like you describe also, the below is from Autocar 13 Nov 91, which also mentioned a similar Goodyear which must be the one you had.

Just saw a mini-bus in Edinburgh with what I'm pretty sure were Korean number plates! Sorry no pic, I only processed what I saw after it had passed. I think it was like this:

A lovely dream, shame that while the ECC's styling appeared on production cars, its drivetrain never came anywhere near.

The Triumph 1500 thus shares with the Polestar 2 Single Motor the distinction of having been launched with FWD, and then converted to RWD during a facelift.

DVLA details show it's LDV based. Second pic is how it likely left the factory.
