If it feels like your life is beset by storms, you could shelter in place and wait them out.
Or, you could swallow them all, become a super storm, and lay waste to all before you.

Thanks to @tbertramgallant.bsky.social for sharing the article on LinkedIn and underscoring a main takeaway: "the responsibility to mitigate the negative impacts of LMMs on integrity, learning and learning validation must not rest on the backs of educators and educational institutions alone."

Deep down, aren't we all the same?
Don't you feel your time would be better spent shambling through mossy forests, or haunting the parapets of a crumbling cliffside castle, pining for the return of your betrothed, who is lost on a storm wracked sea?

I am both. It would simply depend on my mood.
There are two types of people in the world:
Those who would flee from a haunted mansion on the moors while wearing a fabulous gown, and those who would wander inside to investigate why there is a single candle illuminating the attic.

We’ve been so good at teaching the younger generations to set boundaries that too many assume it’s ok to use the language of “boundaries” to assert control over what their partners do in their own free time.

That ain’t boundaries.

Boundaries are for protecting YOUR autonomy, not invading others’.

You know what they say:
When your world is in shambles, make a castle of shambles and some shamble armor, retreat inside, and rule over everything as the Mad Monarch of the Shambles.

It's ok if you haven't done your laundry, or written a short story about ghost cats, or discovered the mossy forgotten tomb of an ancient forest god.
I know you're trying your best, and that's all any of us can do.
Carry on.

Receive the strange signals it provides.
It may ask you to start crafting deranged sculptures out of moss, or to wear a tiara of ancient goblin bones.
Be ready.
