Archiving things regardless of their quality helps prevent the "everything was better in the past" idea. If only the good stuff gets preserved, then of course the past looks better. It's important to be able to go into the archives and see that people have been making crappy art forever.

Truly, what is happening in that head? It makes me never want to know anything about any artist. Apparently it's possible to have absolutely no understanding of one's own work.

It blows my mind that a vile bigot could (apparently by accident) write a book about how it's possible and important to have love and empathy for other beings, no matter how different they are from you.
