They don't need a majority to get things done. NDP hold the balance of power right now, just as they did prior to this election. The 2 parties can work together. The libs didn't give us cheap daycare, dental or pharma. That was all pushed by the NDP. We can't lose the orange seats we have left

Why would the NDP need to cross the floor to achieve UBI, unless the Liberals were holding it hostage to get their way? The 2 parties can work together, sure. They don't need to change their political affiliations to do that.

It was such a disappointment. I hate that they lost official party status. Our government functions better when we have a mix of voices (and priorities) in parliament

It's a natural progression from decades of anti-islam propaganda in the west.
Hamas (by extension, Muslims) as the villain, and Jews as the perpetual victim, is the perfect narrative to simplify the moral quandary that is massacring children for profit

Israel is blocking aid for dying Palestinians as it wages war on them, while asking for global help to recover from wildfires started by settlers who torched Palestinian land. The hypocrisy is staggering, denying help to their victims while seeking it when facing consequences meant for Palestinians.

This is intentional. This is their plan to further restrict voter rights, retain power, and deal with the labour vacuum left by missing migrant workers. Incarcerate the population and use them as slave labour for corporations. The US is cooked.

We need our politicians to get really brave and start acting. I was raised to believe Canadians were peacekeepers. But, beyond some nice words, we've done nothing to stop the genocidal regime that is Israel
