Someone needs to explain to our Sec of Commerce how capitalism works.

America has a GLOBAL TRADE SURPLUS on services. Services have the highest margins and profits of our exports. That is where capital and expertise focused.

It is why we dominate in tech globally.

Gee - I wonder who’s interested in buying those buildings for - I’m guessing - pennies on the dollar
The General Services Administration released a list Tuesday of more than 440 buildings owned by the federal government that it may sell off in the months ahead, reports @jennifershutt.bsky.social. Four buildings in West Virginia are on the list.

Did my best to recap some of the actions by Trump 2.0 in its first month that touch on cybersecurity and consumer protection. This has been cathartic to put together. It's long, but I hope it's at least somewhat useful for some of you.

Dear Dems. This is a reminder that Donald Trump rescinded the ethics rules preventing gifts to executive branch employees.

Now would be a good time to propose legislation formalizing the prevention into a law

Time to do things that make him react to you.

Not only were they placed on admin leave, but the email sent a little while ago retroactively let them know it's been effective since this past money. As I understand it, the judge's order holds that no one can be fired, but by putting everyone on leave, the agency is unable to perform its function.
BREAKING

Federal Judge Amy Berman Jackson just issued an order preventing the Trump administration from:

1. Deleting CFPB data

2. Firing CFPB employees

3. Transferring money from CFPB's reserve fund

Right after the order was issued, nearly all CFPB employees were placed on administrative leave

NEW — In an alarming email last night reviewed by me, Coast Guard members learned that 1,135 members' direct deposit account routing information was compromised due to a data breach from unauthorized access.

It was only discovered because an officer “reported anomalous activity” on their account.
