The collaboration is taking a break now until next year, but you can see the playlists for all the prompts at tmip.uk/animation. If you want to submit an entry for any prompts you missed, you're very welcome to do so.

I'm horrifically late posting about this, but the playlist for the August/September Animation Generation Collaboration is now up! The prompt was to create an animation of a Hilbert curve, and there are some lovely ones! www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...

Want a cool Nature, #SciArt, or Dropout Pride pin that helps a trans small business? My designs are available at canopyrobin.etsy.com and ship worldwide*

*currently not to the US or Israel
Screenshot of an etsy shop showing pride pins in various designs. The top row are Game Changer inspired pins, patches, and stickers that say "we've been here the whole time" in trans, progress, and non-binary colours. Row two shows circular pride pins for a wide range of flags that say it's dr actually, a rainbow frog, and flower pins in a range of flag colours. Row three shows a progress pride tree, a trans fern necklace, and a colour change flower that goes from white petals to rainbow. Row four shows trans lesbian and trans gay flags, and pins that say "ask me about allyship" or "real allies take action" on trans, progress, or black backgrounds

My Mathstonbury T-shirt arrived from my friends in The Pseudo Random Ensemble ‘one of the UK’s top ten mathematically-inspired musical combos’!

How many bands to you recognise? Extra points for the maths connection.

This show was so much fun! Hard to believe it was only 2 years ago that I did a lightning talk at @tmip.bsky.social entitled 'Do you wanna be in a band with me?' Now I have a wonderful community of people who love making maths music (most not pictured here). More to come soon, online and in person.

We had an amazing time performing maths songs to a sold-out audience, to open the Talking Maths in Public @tmip.bsky.social conference last week. We couldn't have asked for a more welcoming audience for our first in-person show. There will hopefully be a few clips coming soon!

I didn't learn my lesson. Today's lunch featured cinnamon-flavoured hummus. Not what I was aiming for, but it was actually quite nice.

I accidentally seasoned the veg with cinnamon instead of paprika. How's your Friday going?
