everyone wished really hard and manifested a friend for sinkdog
a comic. sinkdog sits on the countertop, broken dishes on the floor around her. she apologizes to a dog character (let's call her daisy) sweeping up the broken glass, who responds "it's okay!" in the next panel daisy is washing dishes in sinkdog, who is laying on the counter, looking away with tears running down her face. "it will get like this again." sinkdog comments. "and i'll help you again." daisy replies. "even if i never get better?" "of course." in the next couple of panels we see a clean, normal sink, and sinkdog rising up from the counter, now a regular intact dog character, freed from the mental block that was the dirty dishes. daisy clasps sinkdog (who is now wearing a hoodie and pj pants) on the shoulders and says "i hope i could unstick you a little bit." sinkdog smiles tearfully back. in the final panel they hug. daisy says "i love you." sinkdog looks relieved.

WHY? On July 2025, Steam, a popular storefront to purchase games on PC, and itch.io, a storefront that sells games, comics, tools, resources and much more, have recently delisted several NSFW games, after the group Collective Shout published an open letter to payment processors such as Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, and more. As a result of this letter, payment processors have strongarmed Valve and itch.io into enforcing restrictive new TOS policies on what kind of content their platforms can host and sell. Visa, Mastercard, Stripe and Paypal have been censoring free speech and legal business on the internet for TOO LONG. Their most recent targets are Steam and Itch.io, but they have also been pressuring websites like Pixiv, Patreon, Fansly, Onlyfans and MORE for years, applying draconian standards for what kind of adult/pornographic content platiorms and their users can host and sell. If we as consumers and creators want to regain ground on this issue, we have to make our voice heard. HOW? BOMBARD THEM WITH PHONE CALLS Collective Shout, the organization that lobbied to have Steam and Itch.io change their TOS, did so with only around 1000 phone calls. Visa and MC have backed down from pressuring Onlyians to remove adult content entirely due to public backlash. Clogging their phone lines for an extended perlou, over a mont at the absolute least, will almost gudrantee that these compantes will at least have to pay attention to the backlash. this list is not exhaustive. but some contact points for the 4 targets are: 1. Sharing my call and email script re: online censorship. I've been using this since May of this year. I tweaked it a bit so it's more current, and included versions for both Democrat and Republican electeds.

DEMOCRAT VERSION ( Dial 202-225-3121 ) - Script: Hello, my name is [NAME] from [COUNTY, ZIP CODE]. I respectfully urge [ELECTED REP] to oppose three pending internet censorship bills: • the Kids Online Safety Act - KOSA • the Interstate Obscenity Definition Act - IODA • and the SCREEN Act All three bills claim to protect minors by placing a duty of care on online platforms to prevent exposure to harmful things. But Republicans keep expanding the definition of "harmful." Notably, FTC Chair Ferguson signed up "to fight wokeness" - a label the Trump administration applies to anything it doesn't like. The people in power can't be trusted with laws like these. If passed, these bills would harm LGBTQ teens, adults, and anyone who needs information on reproductive health or abortion. The SCREEN act will enable constant surveillance of American citizens, and put the sensitive data of everyone - especially children - at risk. The UK's disastrous rollout of the Online Safety Act is a perfect example of how unpopular, dangerous, and ineffective these laws are. Again, I urge you to oppose KOSA, IODA, and the SCREEN act. Hi, I'm a Stripe customer. I'm calling because I've been seeing a lot of news about you denying service to storefronts that sell adult content and enforcing this crazy list of things that works can't even contain and it's like, stuff that's in Game of Thrones. That seems really over the line to me, because all of this stuff is totally legal to make fiction about. If this is something you're going to enforce a lot of people are going to look for alternatives, and I expect I'll be one of them. I recommend you change your policies before you start losing a lot of business, including mine. I can't support any business that enforces censorship like this.
